Michael Banasiak

President and CEO, offers over 20 years executive and managerial experience in the information business. Michael established PredictiveMetrics in 1995 to provide higher quality statistical modeling and analytics in a customer oriented environment. For most of his career, he has been working with Fortune 500 and middle market companies in a consultative role to better develop and utilize knowledge-based credit, collection, and recovery score technology. Michael is one of the fore fathers of commercial credit scoring; he successfully built D&B’s first commercial credit scoring and financial stress models. Prior to D&B, Michael was involved in academic research and statistical analysis in economics for the National Council on Compensation Insurance. Michael has a master's degree in Economics (ABT) and Doctorate Series in Econometrics from New York University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Statistics from Rutgers University.




Daniel Tantum, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President of Analytical Services, applies his more than 25 years analytical expertise developing and pioneering statistical techniques for a variety of predictive decision applications. Dan is responsible for directing the analytical staff and all projects including but not limited to credit risk, collections, and marketing decision tools, and custom analytics. He successfully developed PredictiveMetrics signature Net30Score product and former PreQualifier model and assisted with the development of PredictiveMetrics’ other leading industry products including UltraRecovery Score, UtilityScore for Collections, Lease Decision Score, DebtBuyerScore, and Office Score. Dan was a major contributor in creating ScoreMiner, a web based scoring and data mining application. Prior to joining PredictiveMetrics in 1997, Dan applied his knowledge in the fields of marketing, finance, and economic theory for AT&T and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dan has several published works in the fields of applied econometrics, economics, communication, and international trade. Dan has a Ph.D. and master’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Joseph’s University.




Eileen O’Hare

Vice President of Marketing, has spent 20 years in the field of marketing. Eileen brought her vast experience with developing and implementing marketing strategies to successfully establish PredictiveMetrics ’ as a leading provider of statistical modeling and analytics in the B2B and consumer marketplace. She is responsible for identifying broad and niche markets, creating marketing materials, advertising, promotions, public relations, web development, PowerPoint presentations, and assisting with sales. She is also a key contact for creating and growing partner relationships. Eileen held several marketing management positions in the advertising and publishing industries as well as being a partner in a start-up company that introduced novelty items, prior to joining PredictiveMetrics in 1996. She has authored and co-authored articles for Business Credit on automated statistical scoring. Eileen earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Montclair University.




Ted Shalack, ACAS, MAAA, CPCU, ARM

Director of Research and Development and Consulting Actuary, brings PredictiveMetrics ’ customers a strong mathematical background and 20 years experience building custom and industry specific statistical decision models for recovery, credit risk, collections, and portfolio acquisition. He developed and currently maintains industry leading recovery products, which include UltraRecovery Score, MedicalRecovery Score, and DebtBuyerScore. Ted heads PredictiveMetrics ’ research and development for various statistical modeling techniques and designs, data sources, and implementation methods. PredictiveMetrics has patent pending technology in these areas. Ted joined PredictiveMetrics in 1996 and again in 2000. He has spent most of his career holding senior level actuary positions with Odyssey America Reinsurance, KPMG Peat Marwick, and The Wyatt Company. Ted is an accomplished Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. He is also an Associate in Risk Management, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, and member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Ted received his master’s degree in mathematics from Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University. Ted graduated, with highest honors, from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He was acknowledged as the most distinguished undergraduate mathematics major and was a National Merit Scholar.




Roderick MacKenzie

Director of Information Technology, offers more than 10 years of experience in programming and IT related fields with a strong background in SAS programming and MS Windows environment. In his current position, Rod leads the construction and management of all the data needs of PMI’s clients and strategic partners including the allocation of network, security, and programming resources. Rod works closely with clients’ IT teams from first contact through final implementation of completed projects, including follow-up testing. Prior to joining PredictiveMetrics in 1999, Rod was an independent IT consultant. His consulting experience included network maintenance and programming of business applications for small private companies. Rod holds a programming degree from the Chubb Institute and a B.S. in Computer Science from American Intercontinental University.




Sam Fensterstock

Director of Business Development, brings more than 15 years experience directing sales, partnerships, and creating information products. Sam specializes in the development and sales of credit and collection management products, services, and solutions. Prior to joining PredictiveMetrics in 2006, Sam helped run three of the leading niche information providers, Global Credit Services, CreditRiskMonitor, and F&D Reports. Sam was named one of the 50 most influential people in the commercial credit industry by Credit Today. Sam helps lead the Credit Research Foundation’s Credit & Portfolio Scoring Workshops and has been an invited guest speaker for numerous credit and collection conferences. He has several published articles and has been quoted in leading business publications. Sam has a bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Economics from Cortland State University.
